Restoration interventions

The Camaldolese Abbey of Volterra is the heart of the recovery activity by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Volterra and the Superintendent BAPPSAE for the provinces of Pisa and Livorno. The first results of this his activity are the general consolidation of the structure and the opening of the plan more representative of the historical building to the public. For this reason we considered necessary using the archival research and new technologies to document the current condition of preservation rather than a state of degradation of the basements.
