An European Project for the recovery of abandoned industrial areas
From Industrial Use to Creative Impulse is more than a slogan. It is thecommon goal undertaken by five european cities to bring new life to former industrial sites and transform them into cultural and creative spaces. A group of public and private partners are developing together innovative concept and strategies to upgrade these sites to key cultural linchpins of thecities, enhancing theattractiveness of theneighbourhoods and giving an impulse to theurban development of the areas. The AEG factory in Nuremberg, HALLE 14 in Leipzig, the Arsenale in Venice, the St. Lawrence district in Krakow and the Rog factory in Ljubljana face the same challenges and deserve a SECOND CHANCE.
